Toffee

2 ½ cups sugar
¼ cup white karo
½ cup water
4 cubes butter
Heat in sauce pan until it reaches hard ball stage (pour from a spoon into water, if candy immediately hardens, then it’s hard ball)
Melt chocolate chips and pour over top (opt)
Sprinkle with nuts (opt)
