GRATED APPLE PUDDING

3 large apples [grated] ½ tsp nutmeg
1 c. sugar 1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg ¼ c. shortening
1 tsp soda ½ c. nuts
½ tsp salt 1 c. flour
Mix in order given. ,Bake @ 350 in cookie sheet. 30 min. Cut in 2” squares serve with whip cream and
SAUCE ¾ c. brown sugar, 1 c. water,
2 Tbsp corn starch. Cook until thick add 1 tsp Vanilla and 1 cube butter.
